Motor Mechanic / Roadworthy Technician

Autosales Australia is a growing family-owned automotive business specialising in both wholesale and retail vehicle sales. We are currently seeking an experienced Motor Mechanic to join our internal workshop team.

This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys variety and is confident working across multiple vehicle brands and models.

About the Role:

You will be responsible for maintaining and preparing our internal vehicle stock to a high standard, including:

- Servicing a wide range of vehicles
- Diagnosing and repairing mechanical issues
- Diagnosing and repairing electrical faults
- Vehicle inspections and safety checks
- Conduct road tests as required
- Preparing vehicles for sale
- Completing roadworthy inspections and certificates (preferred)
- Ordering and organising parts
- Coordinating third-party suppliers and repairs when required
- General workshop duties and maintaining a clean workspace

Skills / Attributes We’re Looking For:

- Fully Qualified Motor Mechanic
- Current driver’s licence
- Roadworthy Licence preferred




- Experience working on various makes and models
- Robust diagnostic and problem-solving skills
- Ability to diagnose and repair electrical faults
- Safely operate hoists and other equipment
- Knowledge of and compliance with Occupational Health and Safety practices, with a diligent focus on safety in the workplace
- Good clear communication skills
- Organised with the ability to manage parts and external suppliers
- Reliable, hardworking, and able to work independently
- Attention to detail and pride in workmanship
- Team player with a positive attitude
