Depot based in Port Melbourne About The Role As a Mower Operator, you will be responsible for undertaking routine maintenance works in Council controlled parks, reserves and selected roadsides around the City of Port Phillip. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working outdoors, has a keen eye for detail and takes pride in their work.
Responsibilities Open space maintenance of council reserves across municipality of Knox
Mowing, detailing, litter removal, weed spraying
Safely operating and maintaining machinery
Ensuring all work is accurately recorded
Observing and reporting any issues that may impact service delivery About You Must hold a Valid C Class Manual (C) Licence
Ride on Mower experience essential
Current White Card and Working with Children check or willingness to obtain
Ability to operate Zero Turn Mowers, brush cutters and small power equipment
Knowledge or herbicide applications and techniques
Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions, including heat, cold, rain, and the sun
Strong work ethic and commitment to completing tasks efficiently and to the highest standards
Willingness to obtain a National Police Check Benefits Tool of Trade vehicle provided
