Door and Kitchen is seeking a Mr. Mick Front of the House to join our hospitality team in Clare, South Australia. This is a casual position offering flexible working arrangements perfect for those seeking part time in the wine and hospitality industry. Based in Clare SA 5453, you will be part of our welcoming front-of-house team, delivering exceptional service to our guests in our tasting room and dining areas. This role is fundamental to creating memorable experiences for our visitors and maintaining the high standards Tim Adams Wines is known for.

Key responsibilities

- Greeting and welcoming guests to the venue with warmth and professionalism
- Managing seating arrangements and ensuring guests are comfortable throughout their visit
- Taking food and beverage orders accurately and efficiently
- Serving meals, drinks and refreshments with attention to detail and presentation
- Providing knowledgeable recommendations about our wine selections and menu offerings
- Clearing tables promptly and maintaining a clean, organised dining environment
- Processing payments and handling cash or card transactions accurately
- Assisting with special events, tastings and promotional activities as required
- Supporting the wider team to ensure smooth operations during service periods

What we're looking for

- Previous experience in hospitality, waiting staff, or front-of-house roles is highly desirable
- Strong communication skills and the ability to engage warmly with diverse guests
- Excellent customer service orientation with a genuine desire to create positive experiences
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment whilst maintaining composure
- Basic knowledge of food and beverage service standards and etiquette
- Reliability and flexibility to work variable hours, including weekends and public holidays




- Physical capability to stand for extended periods and carry items safely
- A genuine interest in wine and hospitality is a bonus
- Attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving
