Music Roof is growing and we’re looking for passionate, experienced music coaches to join our Melbourne team.
Music Roof is a welcoming music community where people of all ages build confidence, develop their skills and discover their own artistic voice. We’re looking for coaches who genuinely enjoy helping people grow through music.
This is a casual contractor position with regular hours currently available on weeknights and Sundays.
Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging one-on-one and small group music coaching sessions
- Develop students’ vocal technique, musicianship and performance skills
- Support students with repertoire selection and artistic development
- Build positive, encouraging relationships with students
- Help create a welcoming and inclusive studio environment
What we’re looking for
- At least one year of relevant coaching or teaching experience (preferred)
- Experience in singing, songwriting, performance or artist development is highly regarded
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Reliable, professional and organised
- Passion for mentoring and inspiring others
- An ABN (or willingness to obtain one)
- Police Check, or willingness to obtain one
Formal qualifications are welcome but not essential. We value practical experience, solid musicianship and the ability to connect with students.
