About the Role

Dennis Transport is seeking an experienced Local Truck Driver to join their Wingfield SA operations. This full-time role involves local deliveries, operating modern heavy vehicles while providing reliable, safe and professional freight services to our customers.

Key Responsibilities

- Load and unload freight manually and/or using a forklift
- Operate heavy vehicles and trailers
- Complete all required freight, trip and compliance documentation accurately
- Maintain communication with dispatch and operations teams
- Deliver a high standard of customer service
- Comply with all road rules, safety regulations, and company policies
- Maintain accurate trip logs and issue reporting

What we're looking for

- Valid unrestricted Heavy Combination (HC) or Multi-Combination (MC) licence
- Minimum 2 years' driving experience with current licence
- Current High Risk Work Licence (LF - forklift)
- Experience across a range of freight types would be ideal: general, refrigerated, flat-top, containers, bulk carting, and end tippers
- Physically fit and capable of manual handling tasks
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and customer service skills




- Have a good work ethic and attention to detail
- Flexible availability for early starts

Pre-employment requirements

- Permanent Australian residency
- Current driving history record
- Recent National Police Check
- Pre-employment drug and alcohol screening
- Verifiable work references covering the past 5 years
- Ideally the successful candidate will hold an MC unrestricted licence along with Fatigue Risk Management System certification (or willingness to obtain) and current NHVAS Medical – Fitness to Drive Report (or willingness to obtain) and be willing and available to undertake some line-haul work.
