About us We are seeking passionate and enthusiastic OOSH Service Coordinators to join our Council‑operated services. This role offers the opportunity to work with children aged 5–12 years, families and educators to deliver high‑quality, inclusive OOSH programs that support the needs of our local community. The successful applicant will promote child safety and wellbeing, support children of all abilities and backgrounds, and work collaboratively with OOSH Educators to meet the needs of our local community.

Qualifications & experience
- Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care or related field or relevant equivalent experience
- Experience within an Out of School Hours program
- Engaging, implementing, and evaluating the program to ensure it caters for the interests and needs of school age children and meets the requirements of the ‘My Time – Our Place’ Framework.
- Understanding the requirements of being the Nominated Supervisor under the Education and Care Services National Regulations.
- Ensuring compliance to the National Quality Standards and the Regulations.
- Building ongoing positive relationships with the schools, families, and employees.
- Working on administrative tasks and effective day to day operation of the service.
Tasks & responsibilities
- Manage the relevant OOSH Program staff performance and development,
work planning, staff motivation and team development.
- To evaluate the OOSH service and facilitate change as appropriate.
- To ensure that the Program is accessible to children with additional needs.
- To ensure a suitable and viable service is provided to meet the needs of the community, in an efficient and effective manner.
- Observe requirements of the WHS Legislation, relevant to the job and adhere to AlburyCity Policies and Procedures regarding WHS.

- Current Australian National Police Check (within 3 months)
As a part of Child Safe recruitment and employment, Education and Care Services must undertake reasonable enquiries that ensure people who work with children are suitable.
These enquiries include
- Verifying Prohibition notice of declaration for prospective staff members
- Complete National Mandatory Child Safe Training prior to starting

Hours
Based on a 35-hour week, with actual days and times being Monday to Friday, with an RDO in accordance with AlburyCity's RDO guidelines. Actual hours to be worked 9.30-6pm.
Service hours of operation
After School Care during school terms
- Monday to Friday, 1pm - 6pm.
Before School Care during school terms
- Monday to Friday, 7am – 9am....
