About the opportunity:

Join the RSPCA South Australia retail team! We are seeking enthusiastic Assistant Store Managers to support our teams at our Parabanks and Elizabeth Op Shops on a permanent part-time basis.

Whether supporting our well-established community store at Parabanks or our busy Elizabeth location, you will be part of a passionate team dedicated to making a difference.

Our Op Shops offer an extensive and ever-changing range of quality pre-loved fashion, homewares, books, and accessories. As Assistant Store Manager, you will support the day-to-day operations of a rapid-paced retail environment, motivate and guide a team of volunteers, create engaging merchandise displays, and help maximise sales that directly support the vital work of RSPCA South Australia.

About you:

You are an enthusiastic and customer-focused retail professional who enjoys leading by example. With strong organisational and time management skills,



you can confidently balance competing priorities while maintaining high standards across all aspects of store operations. You possess excellent communication skills and have a genuine passion for delivering exceptional customer service.

You enjoy building strong relationships with volunteers and customers and take pride in creating a welcoming shopping experience.

As our successful candidate, you will have:

- Demonstrated experience (2+ years preferred) in a retail leadership or management role.
- Demonstrated ability to positively influence sales and profit result.
- A commitment to providing outstanding customer service and maintaining high visual merchandising and presentation standards.
- Experience working within a volunteer-based environment (desirable).
- A current National Police Clearance (or the ability to obtain one).
- Availability to work weekends and flexibility to support the operational needs of the store.
