Orange Connex is a global logistics power player, but in Australia, we are in an aggressive "Build" phase. After successfully establishing our eBay fulfillment ecosystem, we are now launching a dedicated Domestic Shipping business.

Our goal? To become the primary choice for Australian e-commerce sellers—offering a tech-first, reliable, and human-led solution.

This is a unique chance to be part of a foundation team. As one of our first domestic hires, you will be integral in establishing our local operations in the market.

The Role: What You’ll Do .

- Build the Blueprint: Design, document, and implement scalable operational processes from scratch.
- Data & Insights: Own our operational reporting. You’ll help build dashboards to track KPIs, identify bottlenecks, and provide data-backed recommendations to leadership.
- Stakeholder Management: Act as a key point of contact for external partners and logistics providers, ensuring service level agreements (SLAs) are met.
- Customer Advocacy: Step in to handle complex escalations, ensuring a premium experience for our users while identifying the root cause to prevent future issues.
- Operational Agility: Support the wider team on ad-hoc projects—whether it's testing a recent system feature or helping coordinate a local launch event.

Who You Are

- A Process Architect: You have a knack for turning chaos into order. You love clear documentation and efficient workflows.
- Data-Fluent: You are highly proficient in Excel/Google Sheets and feel comfortable using data to tell a story or solve a problem.
- A Natural Problem Solver: When an escalation hits your desk, you don’t just fix the immediate issue; you look for the systemic fix and communicate.

You are comfortable with ambiguity, thrive in a fast-paced environment, and aren't afraid to roll up your sleeves to do whatever needs to be done.
- Strong Communicator: You can navigate difficult conversations with suppliers and customers with empathy and professionalism.
- International Navigator: You are comfortable working across time zones and cultures, effectively communicating local Australian needs to global stakeholders.

Requirements

- 2+ years of experience in operations, logistics, or a high-growth startup environment.
- Proven track record of building reports and using data to drive operational improvements.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience with CRM or logistics management software is a plus.
