About the role

Canard Solutions' is looking for an Operations Manager to join our team in Melbourne, VIC. As an Operations Manager, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient relocation of furniture and other household items for our clients. You will be supervising the packing and removalist teams on our projects and be the point of contact for our clients.

This is a crucial role that plays a vital part in ensuring our customers have a positive moving experience. You will be working alongside our Logistics Manager and Management Team on all projects.

What you'll be doing

1. Responsible for supervising the packing and removals team on each project (working with our Logistics Manager and Management Team)
2. Supervising the packing, loading, transporting, and unloading of our clients' belongings
3. Supervising the disassembling and reassembling of furniture as needed
4. Providing exceptional customer service and addressing any concerns or questions from clients
5. Maintaining the cleanliness and organisation of projects sites and all vehicles
6. Adhering to all safety protocols and procedures
7. Organising the consignment of goods to auction houses and other relevant destinations
8. Reporting to our administration team to ensure full traceability of furniture and goods

What we're looking for

1. Candidates with at least 2 years’ experience as a Removalist
2. An effective Team Leader
3. Solid customer service skills and the ability to remain calm under pressure
4.



Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities
5. Physical fitness and the ability to lift heavy items
6. A valid driver's licence
7. Attention to detail and a commitment to safety
8. Valid National Police Check certificate
