An established and growing Chartered Accounting firm is seeking an experienced Operations Manager to lead and strengthen its internal operations. Reporting to the leadership team, this is a broad, hands-on role with genuine autonomy and the chance to influence how the business operates and grows.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys improving systems, leading operational excellence, managing risk and supporting a high-performing team.

Key Responsibilities

You will be responsible for the day-to-day operational management of the business, including:

- Leading operational improvement initiatives
- Developing and maintaining business processes and standard operating procedures
- Overseeing compliance, governance, and risk management activities
- Managing internal policies, documentation, and business records
- Supporting technology, systems, software, and process optimisation
- Coordinating staff onboarding, offboarding, and operational administration
- Managing supplier and service provider relationships
- Overseeing workplace facilities and office operations
- Monitoring operational performance through reporting
- Supporting leadership with strategic and business improvement initiatives
- Driving a positive workplace culture and employee experience




- Managing internal administrative functions and ensuring smooth business operations

About You You are an experienced operations professional who enjoys building structure, improving efficiency, and supporting people to do their best work.

You'll ideally have

- Five or more years' experience in an Operations Manager, Practice Manager, Business Manager, or similar leadership role
- Strong organisational, leadership, and communication skills
- Experience implementing and improving business systems and operational processes
- Confidence working with technology and cloud-based business platforms
- The ability to work independently while collaborating with senior leadership
