Operations Manager – Kingswood Campus Location: Kingswood Campus Permanent Full Time Salary package: $103,050 - $108,266 (includes base salary, superannuation contribution, and annual leave loading) About the Role As the Operations Manager, you will oversee hospitality operations across six TAFE NSW locations including Wentworth Falls, Campbelltown, Mount Druitt, Kingswood, Baulkham Hills and Wetherill Park. In this role you will lead operational staff, coordinate rosters and resource allocation, manage purchasing and asset planning, and ensure kitchens and hospitality facilities operate safely, efficiently and in line with compliance requirements. You will build strong relationships with suppliers and stakeholders, drive continuous improvement initiatives and support the training and development of staff.
Responsibilities - Oversee hospitality operations across six campuses.
- Lead and develop operational staff, coordinate rosters and allocate resources.
- Manage purchasing, inventory and asset planning.
- Ensure kitchens and hospitality facilities comply with safety and regulatory standards.
- Build relationships with suppliers and stakeholders.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives and support staff training.
- Collaborate with Procurement and Operations teams across the Cuisine & Hospitality Faculty.
About You
You are a proactive and adaptable operations professional with strong communication and problem‑solving skills and the ability to build positive relationships. You thrive in a fast‑paced environment, balance competing priorities, and are comfortable using technology and systems to support operational performance.
Your background may include hospitality, education or a similar service‑focused industry, with experience in purchasing, inventory management and leading teams.
Qualifications and Requirements - Diploma, Advanced Diploma or Associate Degree in a relevant discipline or equivalent skills and experience.
- Hospitality experience, with knowledge of recipes and food ordering in a commercial environment.
- Requires willingness and ability to travel between the six campuses.

Regarded - Hold a Chef, Baker, Patisserie or Hospitality qualification.
- Background in purchasing and inventory management in a hospitality or education facility.
- Experience with Inventory Management Systems.
- Hold a Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) Competency Card.
- Hold a NSW Food Safety Supervisor's Certificate.
- Hold a current driver's licence. This is a child‑related position. Successful candidates must hold a valid NSW Working with Children Check (WWCC) prior to commencing. TAFE NSW will also conduct an Australian National Criminal Record Check on the preferred applicant as part of the pre‑employment process.
