As a Senior Analyst in our specialist Financial Crime Training team, you’ll make an impact by

- Empowering our people by designing and delivering engaging training that helps every employee understand their role in protecting the bank and our customers from financial crime.
- Shaping our curriculum by assisting in the design and development of a best-in-class, enterprise-wide financial crime training strategy.
- Building a robust risk culture by translating complex policies and regulations into clear, practical, and memorable content for a wide range of audiences.
- Collaborating across the business with subject matter experts to ensure our training is relevant, effective, and aligned with the latest risks and trends.

About the role

The Senior Analyst, Financial Crime Training reports to the Senior Manager of the same function. In this key specialist role, you will be instrumental in safeguarding the bank by helping to execute the end-to-end financial crime training strategy.

You will help ensure that every relevant employee, from the front line to the executive team, has the knowledge and capability required to protect the bank from regulatory risk and the risk of facilitating financial crime. By translating complex policies into practical actions, you will help our people become the first and most effective line of accountability against financial crime.

Key accountabilities include

- Curriculum & Strategy: Assist with the design, development, and maintenance of the enterprise-wide financial crime training strategy and curriculum,



tailored to different roles and risk exposures.
- Content Development: Assist with the creation of all financial crime training content, including general awareness e-learning, specialist workshops for high-risk roles, and operational training.
- Training Needs Analysis: Partner with business units and financial crime SMEs to conduct regular training needs analyses, identifying knowledge gaps and emerging training requirements.
- Measuring Effectiveness: Assist with establishing and reporting on metrics to measure the effectiveness of training programs, demonstrating their impact on employee knowledge and the bank’s overall risk posture.

What you’ll bring to the role

Essential

- Proven domain knowledge across a broad range of financial crime categories (e.g., AML/CTF, Sanctions, Fraud, ABC).
- A strong understanding of adult learning principles and modern instructional design techniques for both digital and face-to-face delivery.
- The ability to translate complex regulations and policies into simple, engaging, and memorable content.
- A creative flair for designing high-quality, impactful training materials in various formats.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Highly desirable

- Experience in a dedicated financial crime training or learning & development role within a financial institution.
- Experience using data and feedback to measure the effectiveness of training programs.
- Tertiary qualifications in a relevant field (e.g., Education, HR, Business).
- Financial Crime industry qualifications (e.g., ACAMS, CFE).

This is a permanent full-time position located in Melbourne, Bendigo, Adelaide, Sydney or Brisbane. We offer flexible work options that put our people first,
