Geoex Services is a South West based civil contracting company specialising in underground service installation, directional drilling and cable laying. Full time positions based in the South West.
Responsibilities
- HORIZONTAL DIRECTIONAL DRILLERS & HDD OFFSIDERS
- HDD operating experience with Vermeer D23x30 and Vermeer D20x22S3 drills and tracking with Digitrak Falcon 5 systems.
- Ability to set up the drill, plan bore paths, mix drill mud for soil conditions.
- Ability to install electrical infrastructure to Western Power standards.
- Operate a vacuum truck.
- Read and decipher BYD and locate plans to manually pothole, locate and expose all services.
- Complete construction paperwork such as JRA’s, dig permits and drill logs.
- CABLE LAYERS / INSTALL CREW
- Cable installation crews needed to lay cable to final positions for pillars, streetlights and primary equipment sites using a combination of manual and mechanical excavation techniques.
- MACHINE OPERATORS/ GENERAL LABOURERS
- Assisting the Cable installation and Drill crews with excavations, shovelling/raking and general site clean-up, manual potholing for service locating and mechanical backfilling of holes and trenches, reinstatement, fault finding and repair of reticulation systems, lawn/garden repairs and returfing, removal and installation of concrete footpaths, crossovers and hot and cold bitumen/asphalt patch repairs.
Must Have's
- Truck Licence - HR to HC
- Current First Aid Certificate and CPR
- Construction white card
