Job Title: Snowflake Developer

Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop, and maintain data pipelines and ELT workflows using Snowflake
- Write and optimize complex SQL queries for data transformation, validation, and performance tuning
- Develop and manage Snowflake objects (tables, views, schemas, streams, tasks, and stored procedures)
- Build scalable data ingestion frameworks from multiple sources (databases, APIs, cloud storage)
- Implement data modeling techniques (dimensional modeling, star/snowflake schemas)
- Ensure data quality, integrity, and consistency through validation and reconciliation processes
- Optimize Snowflake performance using query tuning, warehouse sizing and clustering, partitioning and caching strategies
- Work with cross-functional teams to support reporting, analytics, and downstream applications
- Participate in code reviews, testing, and deployment activities across environments (Dev, QA, Prod)

Mandatory Skills & Experience

- 4–8 years of experience in data engineering / data warehousing
- Strong proficiency in SQL (complex joins, window functions, CTEs, subqueries, performance tuning and query optimization)
- Hands‑on experience in Snowflake development (streams, tasks, time travel, stored procedures & UDFs)




- Experience with data warehousing concepts and ETL/ELT pipelines
- Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS / Azure / GCP)
- Experience with data integration tools (Informatica, ADF, DBT, or similar)
- Strong understanding of data validation and reconciliation techniques
