As our business continues to grow and our product portfolio expands, we're looking for a Packaging Specialist who is passionate about innovation and enjoys turning ideas into reality.
This is more than a packaging role.
We're looking for someone who loves being where the action is.
Someone who enjoys walking the factory floor, running trials, solving problems alongside operators and seeing packaging ideas come to life in production.
You'll combine creativity with technical expertise to develop smarter packaging solutions, improve manufacturing performance and help deliver exciting new products to market.
Working across Innovation, Operations, Procurement and Quality, you'll play an important role in shaping the future of packaging at Birch & Waite.
This role is based across our Marrickville, Revesby and Villawood sites, so flexibility to travel between locations is essential.
You'll be responsible for
- Leading packaging innovation from concept through to commercial implementation.
- Running packaging line trials and evaluating current materials.
- Working closely with Production and Operations to improve packaging performance.
- Identifying opportunities to improve efficiency, sustainability and product quality.
- Collaborating with suppliers to explore new packaging technologies.
- Supporting capital projects and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Maintaining packaging specifications and technical documentation.
