About the Role

We are seeking a motivated and customer-focused Paint Salesperson to join our Cairns branch.

This is a hands-on, in-store sales role where you will be the first point of contact for customers, providing expert advice on automotive and industrial coatings. It’s an excellent opportunity for someone looking to build a long-term career in sales while applying their product knowledge and developing strong customer relationships.

What You Need

- Strong communication and customer service skills
- A proactive and positive approach to in-store sales
- Ability to build lasting relationships with trade and retail customers
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Basic computer skills (for POS and order processing)
- Current driver’s licence
- Forklift licence (not essential – training can be provided)
- Previous experience in automotive/industrial coatings or a trade background within the industry is preferred

Key Responsibilities

- Provide expert advice and product recommendations to customers
- Mix and tint paint products accurately to customer specifications
- Process sales transactions and manage customer orders
- Maintain store presentation and stock levels




- Build and maintain strong relationships with trade and repeat customers
- Support day-to-day store operations
