Field Officer GTES Yarragundry, New South Wales, Australia

GTES is seeking an experienced, creative and people focused Field Officer to support apprentices, trainees, labour-hire employees and employers across the Riverina.

This is a broad, hands-on role for someone who can recruit great people, build trusted relationships and create opportunities within local businesses, schools and the wider community.

About the role

You will:

- Manage recruitment from advertising through to placement

- Support and mentor apprentices, trainees and labour-hire employees

- Build strong relationships with host employers and local businesses

- Engage with schools, students and community organisations

- Assist with employee relations, performance and workplace matters

- Identify new employment, training and partnership opportunities

- Contribute creative ideas to marketing, events and community engagement

- Maintain accurate records and meet service, compliance and reporting requirements

- Be supported by solid systems, clear expectations and dedicated administrative support, allowing you to focus on people, relationships and outcomes

About you

We are looking for someone who:

- Has strong recruitment and HR experience

- Is confident managing relationships and difficult conversations

- Is creative, proactive and comfortable developing new ideas

- Can engage effectively with people,



employers and community stakeholders

- Is organised, accountable and able to work independently

- Communicates professionally and represents GTES with confidence

- Holds relevant qualifications in HR, recruitment, business or a related field

- Has a current driver’s licence and can obtain required employment screening checks

Experience within apprenticeships, traineeships, labour hire, employment services or education would be highly regarded.

Salary will be negotiated between $75,000 and $100,000 plus superannuation, depending on the successful candidate’s experience, qualifications and demonstrated capability.
