Future Generation Joint Venture on behalf of SC Hydro Pty Ltd is currently recruiting for TBM Operators on the Snowy 2.0 Project in the Snowy Monaro region. The project is working a 14:7 roster, 12 hour shifts which may include days/nights rotating.
The successful candidate will have:
- Experience with operation of TBM's controlling cutterheads
- Experience across large diameter, Multi-Mode TBM operations
- Ensure proper alignment and driving during TBM operations
- Operation,
daily maintenance and routine servicing of equipment
- Ensure timely progress of work according to schedule and plans
- Required to familiarize themselves with the approved emergency procedures, contingency plans, communication procedures and rescue plans
- Completing shift / daily records
- Responsible for identifying any and all safety hazards and notifying the appropriate persons accordingly
You must currently hold the following tickets/licences:
- Drivers licence
- High risk work licence - Forklift, EWP, DG
- Working at Heights
- Confined Space
- General Construction Induction training (white card)
- Right to work in Australia
- Be able to pass medical and a criminal history check
These positions are in remote challenging areas with extreme cold temperatures which need to be considered before applying for these roles.
