Transport Planner GV)

Responsibilities

- Support senior team members and team leader with delivering transport planning projects including but not limited to
- Active transport strategies
- Parking strategies
- Integrated transport plans
- Precinct master planning
- Public transport advisory
- Network studies
- Transport management and accessibility plans (TMAP)
- Evaluation and analysis of traffic and transport data
- Provide input into technical transport planning reports

Day To Day Tasks

- Assist in delivering a variety of transport planning projects
- Assist with preparation of transport planning and multi-disciplinary proposals and feasibility studies
- Attend project meetings with project team and client/technical stakeholders
- Collaborate with multi-discipline teams and work with an energetic and motivated team of professionals in a supportive and encouraging environment

Qualifications

- Tertiary qualification in Civil Engineering, Town/Urban Planning or a related discipline
- Minimum 2 years of previous transport planning experience, ideally in consultancy
- Ability to describe transport planning issues in an easy to understand and presentable manner
- Desire to work across multiple projects simultaneously
- Experience in data extraction, evaluation and analysis
- Ideally GIS skills and experience
