Join Our Team – Patient Services Support Officer

Sullivan Nicolaides Pathology is seeking a dedicated administrative professional to join our Patient Services Contact Centre at our main laboratory in Bowen Hills. In this key customer service role, you’ll support patients and collection staff with enquiries, appointments, test information, and general admin tasks.

We’re looking for someone who is:

- Customer-focused, professional, and confident on the phone
- Able to multi-task and thrive in a rapid-paced environment
- Detail-oriented with strong written and verbal communication skills
- Comfortable working independently or as part of a team
- Adaptable, tech-savvy, and committed to continuous improvement

Responsibilities include:

- Handling high volumes of incoming calls
- Assisting with pathology test information and appointments
- Providing admin support and advice to collection staff
- Ensuring effective communication within the lab

Desirable experience:

- Admin experience in healthcare or pathology
- High-volume call handling and/or debt collection

This is a great opportunity for someone passionate about healthcare and delivering excellent service. Full training is provided.

Employment Type: Full-time or Part-time (Monday - Friday, rotating shifts between 6:30am – 5:00pm) with occasional involvement in Saturday and public holiday roster if required

Availability Requirement: For full-time, we require 7.5 hours per day, 5 days per week (Monday to Friday). For part-time, we require 7.5 hours per day, for a minimum of 3 days per week (Monday to Friday).
