DSV Air & Sea is seeking to hire a skilled and passionate Payroll Officer in AUS - Alexandria, Bourke Road

Payroll Officer – Join the Team Behind the Payslips! Do you love balancing numbers, meeting deadlines, and making sure everyone gets paid correctly and on time? If so, let’s chat!

We're looking for a Payroll Officer who has a keen eye for detail, is a team player and understands that payroll is about more than numbers—it's about people.

We'll consider candidates for either our Sydney (Enfield) or Melbourne (Tullamarine) locations

What You'll Be Doing

- Processing end-to-end payroll accurately and on time
- Managing payroll queries with a friendly and helpful approach
- Maintaining employee payroll records and ensuring data integrity
- Processing payroll changes including new starters, terminations, and salary updates
- Assisting with payroll reconciliations, reporting, and compliance activities
- Working closely with HR and Finance teams to keep everything running smoothly
- Helping identify opportunities to improve payroll processes and efficiency

What We're Looking For

- Approximately 3 years' experience in a payroll position
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Strong organisational skills and ability to manage competing priorities
- A positive customer service ethic, team-focused attitude and great communication skills
- Confidence using Excel and Payroll related technologies
- Good understanding of payroll legislation, awards, superannuation, and payroll compliance requirements

Bonus Points If You Have: Experience using iChris or Chris21 (desirable) Experience working in a large or complex organisation with white and blue collar employees

Exposure to payroll reporting and reconciliations
