Pellet Mill Operator Are you a reliable and experienced individual looking to join a dynamic team in the far northern Adelaide area? We’re seeking Pellet Mill Operators for ongoing roles with our client in feed manufacturing located in Wasleys.
About the Role As a Pellet Mill Operator, you will coordinate and supervise the operation of the pelleting mill, hammermill, and grinding processes.
Your responsibilities will include
- Managing outloading to ensure correct feeds/orders are dispatched.
- Monitoring production to meet client standards.
- Conducting QA testing, including pellet size checks.
- Maintaining accurate inventory records and reporting.
- Participating in hygiene and maintenance activities.
- Ensuring plant and equipment meet safety and operational standards.
- Reporting workplace issues and contributing to continuous improvement. You’ll play a key role in ensuring feed is manufactured efficiently and safely, with a strong focus on quality and compliance.
What We
Seek - Working Rights: Must have valid working rights in Australia.
- Availability:
Full-time availability for rotating shifts starting at 7am or 7pm, including weekends and overtime.
- Licensing: Current driver’s license and forklift license required.
- Technical Skills: Sound computing skills and familiarity with operational systems.
- Safety Focus: Robust understanding of OH&S;, environmental policies, and safe work practices.
- Positive Attitude: Energetic, detail-oriented, and committed to quality.
