About the opportunity
We are now searching for a strong P&C; BP reporting to the P&C; Partnering Manager, to be based in CBD/Henderson (WA) or CBD/Osborne (SA). There will be a hybrid arrangement (working from home) and some interstate travel/ split site support expectation from time to time.

As a strategic partner to business leaders, you will play a critical role in shaping workforce capability and organisational performance across a dynamic and complex environment. Working closely with leaders, you will provide expert advice and challenge, helping to address workforce priorities related to attraction, engagement, capability, retention and organisational effectiveness.
This role requires a commercially minded People & Culture professional who can build strong partnerships, influence decision-making, and translate business objectives into people strategies that deliver meaningful outcomes. You will work collaboratively across the People & Culture function to drive initiatives that support sustainable growth, strengthen leadership capability and foster a high-performing culture.
Responsibilities
- Serve as a trusted strategic partner to leaders, providing expert advice and guidance on workforce and people-related matters.
- Partner with business leaders to develop and implement people strategies that support organisational objectives, workforce growth and operational performance.
- Drive workforce planning initiatives, ensuring capability and talent requirements are aligned to current and future business needs.
- Support leaders in attracting,
engaging and retaining high-performing talent in a competitive employment market.
- Coach and develop leaders to enhance people leadership capability, employee engagement and team effectiveness.
- Provide strategic guidance on organisational design, change management and workforce transformation initiatives.
- Lead and manage complex employee relations matters, ensuring risk is appropriately managed and outcomes align with organisational values and objectives.
- Analyse workforce data and insights to identify trends, risks and opportunities, informing business decisions and people strategies.
- Partner with Centres of Excellence and broader People & Culture teams to deliver integrated and fit-for-purpose people solutions.
- Champion a culture of inclusion, accountability, continuous improvement and high performance across the business.
- Ensure compliance with employment legislation, enterprise agreements and organisational policies while balancing commercial and people outcomes.
About you
- Tertiary qualifications in Human Resources, Business, Organisational Psychology or a related discipline, or equivalent experience.
- Significant experience in a People & Culture Business Partner, Human Resources Business Partner or senior generalist HR role.
- Demonstrated success partnering with leaders to develop and execute workforce strategies that improve organisational performance.
- Strong knowledge of contemporary people practices across workforce planning, talent management, employee engagement, leadership capability and organisational development.
- Highly developed stakeholder engagement and influencing skills, with the ability to build credibility and trusted relationships across all levels of an organisation.
- Strong commercial acumen and the ability to balance business priorities with people outcomes.
- Exceptional communication, facilitation and coaching skills.
- Proactive and strategic mindset, combined with the ability to navigate ambiguity and drive positive change in a fast-paced environment.
