In this important role, you will help ensure our people systems are reliable, efficient and fit for purpose,
supporting a positive employee experience across the University. Working closely with stakeholders across the organisation, you will provide day-to-day support for key HR systems, contribute to system and process improvement initiatives, and help maintain the integrity and quality of workforce data. You will also support reporting requirements and play a valued role in enabling informed decision-making through accurate and trusted data information.

Administer and provide expert technical support across the People & Wellbeing HR technology portfolio, including Oracle PeopleSoft, PageUp, Culture Amp, IBM Cognos Analytics, and ServiceNow; ensuring system reliability, data integrity, and effective service delivery Manage PeopleTools and PUM upgrades; monitor nightly batch processing,
web servers and Process Scheduler environments; maintaining system security and operational stability Investigate system incidents and resolve complex technical issues through structured troubleshooting and root cause analysis; improving system performance and minimising business disruption Coordinate and support the delivery of periodic operational, statutory and regulatory reporting and workforce analytics processes (daily through to annual), including key external returns such as WGEA, AHEIA, Mercer surveys, QS/Times Higher Education submissions and TCSI-related workforce data Enhance data integrity and data quality by identifying areas for improvement and championing solutions with key stakeholders e.g. data inconsistencies, anomalies, invalid entries, communication/cultural barriers Enable HR transformation initiatives by leveraging workflow automation using Power Platform solutions to streamline processes, reduce manual effort, and enhance service efficiency Assist in supporting payroll compliance, assurance, and remediation strategy; overseeing monitoring, issue resolution, and systemic control to mitigate risk, strengthen governance, and prevent recurrence What we’re looking for:
Extensive experience in PeopleSoft Administration (8.6x+) for which the position requires a high level of expertise in the following areas: PeopleTools, Process Scheduler, Query Designer, Core HR, Position Management, Benefits Administration, Time and Labor, Absence Management, Recruiting module Highly developed verbal and written communication skills with proven ability to build working relationships with stakeholders from a range of levels An inquiring mindset with demonstrated capability in the analysis of quantitative and qualitative data, including visualisation and analytics using BI tools,
to identify trends and provide clear insights and narratives that support informed decision-making Strong attention to detail, ensuring accuracy and completeness of data held within our systems and ability to identify and articulate improvements An interest in learning more about People and Wellbeing functions, processes and strategies linked to University goals Salary details Appointment to this role will be at HEO 6 and will have a total remuneration package of up to $116,872 comprising base salary within the range of $92,120 to
$99,891 plus 17% superannuation.
