Are you an experienced Personal Care Assistant with a passion for Aged Care?

Join our dedicated team at Doutta Galla - Harmony village, Shepparton where every day is an opportunity to make a meaningful difference to the lives of our residents.

This is a casual position. We are seeking candidates who have reliable weekday availability and are able to pick up casual shifts across Monday to Friday.

Key Responsibilities:

- Provide respectful personal care, including hygiene assistance, dressing and mobility support to the residents.
- Assist residents with daily living activities and meals.
- Foster independence, dignity, and individual choice for each resident.
- Maintain accurate documentation in accordance with Aged Care Quality Standards.
- Communicate effectively with residents, families, and multidisciplinary teams.

What you will bring:

- Demonstrated knowledge and experience in personal care ideally in an aged care setting
- Experience caring for people living with dementia. Certificate III or Certificate IV in Aged Care/Disability (or equivalent e.g. Individual Support)
- Ability to effectively communicate verbally and non-verbally with residents living with dementia and/or where English is a second language.
- Demonstrated ability to document concisely and effectively in resident progress notes
- Ability to work effectively and respectfully in a team environment.
- Knowledge of the Care Plan process and the relevant assessments required.
- Compassionate, patient, and respectful approach.
