The Role

We are seeking Expressions of Interest for Personal Care Workers (PCWs) to join our Community, Health and Care team supporting clients across the Gippsland Region. Our Personal Care Workers provide one-on-one support to help older Victorians live comfortably and independently in their own homes. They help clients stay connected and feel supported by assisting with daily activities, personal care, domestic support, and community engagement.

- Assist clients with daily activities according to their needs and choices
- Work with clients one-on-one within their home to live their best lives and maintain relationships
- Assist clients with personal care or domestic duties in their homes
- Assist clients to keep connected to their communities through activities they love

We offer permanent part time contracts for a minimum of 10 hours per fortnight. We then offer shifts based on client needs and your location / availability. We are currently seeking Expressions of Interest only at this stage, and will review applications once we have a vacancy suitable to your location.

About you

- Completed or currently studying a Cert III or higher in Individual Support or a related qualification. If you have completed the first year of your nursing studies, and have completed your placements, you will be a qualified Care Worker
- A genuine passion for caring and ability to build rapport with clients
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Respect for all, regardless of background, gender, age, religion, race,



or sexual orientation
- Your own vehicle, current drivers' licence, and comprehensive car insurance, to drive between clients' homes and drive clients as required
- Willingness to travel between clients, sometimes up to 4 clients per day, and up to 30 minutes between clients
- A reasonable amount of availability, at least 3 days per week
