TerryWhite Chemmart Woonona is seeking a dedicated and efficient Pharmacy Assistant to join our team on a casual basis.
As a Pharmacy Assistant, you will be supporting our pharmacy team to deliver excellent customer service whilst maintaining the highest standards of professionalism.
What you'll be doing
- Assisting customers with product selection and queries in the pharmacy and general retail areas
- Processing transactions accurately and efficiently at the point of sale
- Maintaining tidy and organised shelving, displays and storage areas in compliance with pharmacy standards
- Assisting the pharmacist with the provision of medications under supervision
- Ensuring compliance with health and safety protocols and pharmacy legislation
- Restocking shelves and ensuring product availability to meet customer demand
What we're looking for
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and professional demeanour
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy, particularly when handling transactions and stock management
- The ability to work both independently and as part of a team in a busy environment
- Reliable and punctual with flexibility to work casual hours including weekends if required
- Basic numeracy and literacy skills with proficiency in using point-of-sale systems
- Positive organisational and time management abilities
- Willingness to learn and develop new skills within the retail pharmacy environment
- Previous retail or pharmacy experience is advantageous but not essential for motivated candidates
