About the role

We are seeking a Client Services Officer to join our team in Bendigo, Victoria on a full-time or part-time basis. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our clients, providing exceptional customer service and administrative support to ensure smooth operations and client satisfaction. This position is fundamental to maintaining the high standard of service delivery that Ropan Financial Planning Group is known for, whilst supporting our financial planning and advisory teams in delivering outstanding client experiences.

Key responsibilities

1. Managing client enquiries via telephone, email and in person with professionalism and efficiency
2. Processing client requests, documentation and administrative tasks in a timely and accurate manner
3. Maintaining client records and databases, ensuring all information is current, complete and confidential
4. Scheduling appointments and coordinating meetings between clients and financial advisers
5. Assisting with client onboarding processes and providing necessary documentation and support
6. Responding to client queries regarding account information, transactions and services
7.



Supporting the preparation of client reports, statements and other financial documentation
8. Contributing to the smooth administration of the office and assisting with general administrative duties as required

What we're looking for

1. Strong customer service skills with the ability to build rapport and communicate effectively with clients
2. Excellent organisational and time management abilities, with the capacity to manage multiple priorities
3. Proficiency in computer systems and Microsoft Office applications
4. Meticulous attention to detail and accuracy, particularly when handling sensitive financial information
5. Professional attitude with a commitment to confidentiality and discretion
6. Ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team
7. Strong written and verbal communication skills
8. Experience in a client-facing role within financial services or a similar professional environment (preferred)
9. Knowledge of financial services or client management systems (preferred)
