The Role: We are currently seeking 5 Personal Care Assistants to join our team at our Care Community in Mareeba.

Full-time positions (38 hours per week). Expected commencement: Between December 2026 to June 2027 for ongoing work. As a Personal Care Assistant, you will be part of a dynamic and supportive care team, providing personal care and assistance to our residents, guided by the senior clinical team.

You will help with daily living activities, assist with meal delivery, monitor and record resident progress, and follow care plans. Key Responsibilities:

- Assist residents with activities of daily living and lifestyle in line with their care plans.




- Complete allocated care duties as delegated by Registered or Enrolled Nurses.
- Assist with meal delivery, refreshments, and other care-related tasks.
- Record observations and document resident progress.

We’re Looking for Candidates Who Have:

- A relevant qualification or a willingness to undertake on-the-job training.
- A genuine interest in working in aged care.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to engage with people from diverse backgrounds.
- Ability to manage a varied and demanding workload.
- The capacity to work effectively as part of a team.
- Flexibility for shift work, including nights and weekends.
- A current NDIS Worker Screening Check (we’ll assist you in obtaining this if necessary).

Hourly Rates:

- $35.00 per hour (unqualified) to $39.00 per hour (with Certificate III).
