Develop (ASX:DVP) has a twin-pronged strategy to drive long term growth and value creation across both mine ownership and mining services.
The first of these centres on the development and production of future facing metals. As part of this, Develop has successfully declared commercial production at it's Woodlawn Copper-Zinc Project in NSW, achieving and exceeding steady state throughput rates, while rapidly advancing the Yitirrti (Sulphur Springs) Zinc-Copper Project in WA. In parallel, the company is progressing it's Pioneer Dome Lithium Project in WA.
The second plank of Develop's strategy centres on the provision of underground mining services. As part of this, Develop has agreements to provide underground mining services to:
DEVELOP are seeking experienced Emergency Services Officers to join our team at our Pioneer Dome Lithium project located approximately 130km south of Kalgoorlie and at our Yitirrti (Sulphur Springs) Zinc-Copper project located 144km southeast of Port Headland.
As an Emergency Services Officer, you are responsible for providing the site with medical support, emergency response readiness, and assist the onsite Emergency Response Team when required.
With open pit mining at Pioneer Dome project set to commence and, construction at Yitirrti (Sulphur Springs) advancing across all workstreams, it is an exciting time to join our growing team.
Your main responsibilities:
- Facilitation and active participation in Mine Rescue training.
- Undertake regular safety inspections of work areas and equipment to ensure secure operations, reporting any discrepancies including High Risk Work activities.
- Complete reports and assist in investigations relating to medical response.
- Implement and maintain drug and alcohol testing regime as per company policy, under the supervision of a competent person.
- Providing advanced first aid to people who are injured or ill in the workplace with Pre-Hospital Care as required.
- Maintaining competency with all associated First Aid qualifications & registrations.
- Recording and reporting of all treatments and associated incidents.
- Maintain readiness and supplies for the sites First Aid & Emergency Response requirements.
- Maintain and undertake regular maintenance and servicing of safety and emergency response equipment.
- Contribute to the development of a positive safety culture on site.
- Assist in approving medical declarations and medical assessments.
- Assist in injury management, return to work programs, if/when requested.
- Assist with developing, reviewing, and implementing safety and medical response procedures.
- Emergency response preparedness.
- Involvement in safety presentations and pre-shift meetings.
- Develop and maintain Emergency Assets location register.
Requirements of the role:
- Certificate IV Healthcare (Ambulance) or higher
- Cert III Emergency Response & Rescue
- Current National Police Clearance
- Collect specimens for drugs of abuse testing - HLTPAT055.
- Current "C" Class Drivers Licence
