Britex Carpet Care Pty Ltd is seeking a full-time Field Maintenance Representative to join our team in Adelaide, SA.

We have a full time dedicated Field Maintenance Representative position available in the northern suburbs of Adelaide and country SA. So it is preferred you live in this area.

This role will have a dedicated territory and will entail the successful candidate driving to supermarkets & hardware stores in the company van maintaining our hire machines. Experience in the repair of our carpet cleaning equipment is not necessary as we will train you.

Our Australian owned company is expanding and requires mature field technicians to fulfil our role.

What you'll be doing

- Travel across northern suburbs of Adelaide into country SA, visiting stores to service and maintain hire machines

- Work to structured call cycles, ensuring all locations are serviced on schedule

- Plan your runs efficiently and manage service calls using an iPad

- Respond quickly to maintenance requests and complete work to a high standard

- Build strong relationships with store staff and deliver outstanding customer service

- Merchandise in-store displays, ensuring the hire offer looks clean, organised, and appealing to customers

- Keep your company vehicle organised, clean, and fully stocked

- Identify opportunities to strengthen and grow customer relationships





- Follow safety procedures and company policies at all times

What we're looking for

- Someone who enjoys regular travel and working on the road

- Ability to manage call cycles and maintain consistent service schedules

- Previous field service or maintenance experience (preferred but not essential)

- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently

- Strong attention to detail and pride in your work

- Great communication and people skills

- Current Australia driver’s licence with a clean record

- Basic handyman/DIY skills and ability to lift up to 25kg

- Willingness to complete a pre-employment medical & provide a National Police Check
