About the Role:

We are looking for experienced, safety-focused Protection Officers to work across the Arc Infrastructure or BHP rail networks. The successful candidates will be responsible for the safe access, protection and control of our worksites, keeping crews separated from live rail traffic on major infrastructure projects. Casual agreement, FIFO and DIDO.

Preferred Experience:

· Current Arc Infrastructure Protection Officer accreditation

· Current BHP Protection Officer accreditation and BHP inductions

· Rail Industry Worker (RIW) card with competencies in date

· Experience on heavy haul iron ore operations in the Pilbara

· HR Drivers Licence

· Provide First Aid & CPR, Working at Heights and Confined Space tickets highly regarded

What We're Looking For:





· Proven experience delivering worksite protection on operational rail corridors

· Confident planning and managing protection authorities in line with network rules

· Ability to run a transparent pre-start and worksite protection briefing

· Confident dealing with Network Control, Train Controllers and client representatives

· The presence to stop the job when conditions are not right

· Accurate completion of protection documentation, records and shift reports

· A strong focus on safety and quality work standards

· Versatility, a positive attitude, and willingness to get the job done

· Current Category 1 rail safety worker medical

· Construction Induction Card (White Card) and current WA C class licence

· Ability to pass a pre-employment medical, including drug & alcohol screening

· Australian work rights required for this position
