HealthPlex is excited to present a new prospect at our Shell Harbour location for a Physiotherapist to join a team of Physiotherapists, GPs, Orthopaedic specialists, Psychiatrist, Exercise Physiologists and more. We are passionate and dedicated to improving the quality of life of others and would like to share this opportunity for a new member to join the team that has the same passion for injury management and rehabilitation.
- Available as Full time and Part time role
- Work with a multi disciplinary team of Allied Health and Medical Practitioners to improve patient care
- Autonomous role with support from experienced leaders
Key Responsibilities: As a Physiotherapist, you will:
- Conduct assessments & therapy from injured workers.
- Be able to work independently and efficiently
- Be able to solve both clinical and non-clinical problems in day-to-day work.
- Be confident with clinical reasoning skills across a variety of conditions.
- Be involved in liaising with multiple stakeholders regarding patient care.
Key Requirements: To be successful in the role, you will need:
- Full AHPRA registration and professional liability/public indemnity insurance
- Have a registered SIRA number
- Be able to understand new systems and processes in an efficient manner.
- Demonstrate a passion for continuing to learn and grow in both a clinical and non-clinical perspective.
- Solid written communication skills.
- A commitment to a high level of customer service to your clients and customers
- Be able to provide clinical supervision to other staff if required and based on experience level.
- Be confident in your role while being open to feedback.
- Understand the different Workers Compensation Schemes and how they work at a basic level.
- Have a done a course in casting and splinting. (Preferred or willing to do a course in the near future.)
