- $180,000 - $190,000 + Super + 15% bonus

About the role: We're working with a large enterprise organisation undertaking a significant engineering modernisation initiative and looking for a DevOps or Platform Leader to join a growing Platform Engineering capability. While the role carries the title of "Product Owner" internally, we're particularly interested in people operating at a Lead, Principal, Architect or Engineering Management level who have experience improving engineering outcomes through better tooling, self-service capabilities, platform standards, governance and platform adoption.

Key Responsibilities:

- Own and prioritise the engineering platform roadmap
- Drive the adoption of GitHub Enterprise and modern engineering practices
- Lead platform modernisation initiatives, including migration from legacy tooling
- Define and evolve platform standards, guardrails and operating models
- Improve developer experience through self-service capabilities and paved-path solutions
- Contribute to the organisation's emerging AI-enabled engineering capabilities

About You:

- Background in Platform Engineering,



DevOps or Software Engineering
- Experience working with developer platforms, internal engineering products or engineering enablement initiatives
- Strong understanding of GitHub, GitLab, CI/CD and contemporary software delivery practices
- Experience delivering large-scale technology transformation, migration or modernisation initiatives
- Able to balance standardisation and governance with developer autonomy and usability
