About the role
We are seeking a qualified Podiatrist to join the healthcare team at Boab Health Services in Broome, Western Australia. This is a full time position plays a vital role in delivering specialist
This Kimberley position delivers community and high-risk outreach podiatry services to towns and remote Aboriginal communities throughout the Kimberley region. This role includes the promotion of preventative strategies and clinical management. You will work in partnership with local Aboriginal Community Controlled Health Services, WA Country Health Service, and other community-based organisations.

What you will do
- Deliver evidence-based, culturally responsive podiatry services across the Kimberley, including fee-for-service, Medicare and locally directed services.
- Support person-centred chronic condition management through collaborative care planning, self-management strategies, clinical risk prioritisation and use of tools such as the Flinders Partners in Health Scale.
- Provide safe, autonomous clinical care for complex caseloads across multiple sites and providers, while contributing to clinical practice development, policies, guidelines and quality improvement reporting.
- Strengthen regional foot health through preventative education, capacity-building activities, culturally respectful interventions and other reasonable duties within scope as directed.

What we're looking for
- A Bachelor of Podiatry qualification or equivalent, with current AHPRA registration and APODA professional membership.
- Demonstrated ability to plan, implement and evaluate individual and group podiatry programs, supported by relevant clinical experience and ongoing professional development.
- Experience working with high-risk podiatry clients, including preventative education, neurovascular assessment, wound care and contemporary podiatry practice.
- Strong interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work independently, prioritise workloads and manage time effectively.
- Understanding of primary health care principles and demonstrated ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team, including with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander clients in a culturally responsive manner.
- Commitment to service quality, workplace safety and organisational policies, with willingness to travel intra- and interstate, including by light aircraft and 4WD, and possession of a current C class driver’s licence.
