Join an award-winning builder specialising in premium concrete pools and spas across Melbourne. Working across architecturally designed homes and high-end residential projects, you'll be part of a business known for quality workmanship, solid delivery standards, and a consistent pipeline of work.
Reporting to the Construction Manager, you'll coordinate trades, manage site activities, and ensure projects are delivered safely, efficiently, and to a high standard.
The RoleThis hands-on, site-based role is responsible for overseeing the construction of premium concrete pools and spas from set-out through to handover. Reporting to the Construction Manager, you'll coordinate trades, maintain quality standards, and ensure projects are delivered safely, efficiently, and on schedule. Responsibilities
- Read and interpret architectural, structural, and engineering drawings to accurately set out pools on site.
- Oversee and coordinate key construction stages including excavation, steel fixing, formwork, plumbing rough-in, shotcrete, waterproofing, tiling, paving, coping, and commissioning.
- Supervise subcontractors and trades to ensure works are sequenced effectively and remain on program.
- Conduct quality checks throughout each stage to ensure compliance with Australian Standards, engineering specifications,
and project expectations.
- Manage site materials, deliveries, and equipment while maintaining clean, secure, and well-presented work sites.
- Track progress in the company system and communicate delays, variations, and RFIs promptly.
- Maintain strong safety practices, including OH&S; compliance, SWMS, inductions, and trade documentation.
What You Will Bring
- Experience in concrete or in-ground swimming pool construction, or closely related structural or concrete construction.
- Strong ability to read and interpret construction and engineering drawings.
- Solid understanding of pool construction stages, sequencing, and site coordination.
- Current White Card and Victorian driver's licence.
- Reliable communication, problem-solving, and organisational skills with a strong focus on quality.
- Physical capability to work in a hands-on, site-based workplace.
- Trade qualifications or additional tickets such as EWP, forklift, or first aid will be highly regarded.
