As demand for our services continues to grow, we are seeking an experienced Contract Positive Behaviour Support Practitioner to support participants throughout the Mandurah and Peel region, with future opportunities for ongoing employment.

The Position

This hybrid opportunity combines community outreach with home-based administration, offering independence, variety, and the ability to design a workload that suits your lifestyle. You will partner with individuals, carers, guardians, educators, and frontline personnel to gain a comprehensive understanding of behavioural presentations, identify environmental influences, and develop practical recommendations that enhance wellbeing, participation, and everyday success. The position suits an established practitioner - preferrably proficient or above, who values flexibility, professional accountability, and meaningful outcomes.

recording, and addressing regulated restrictive interventions Designing practical strategies informed by assessment findings Engaging with relatives, carers, educators, and other key stakeholders Building capability within support teams through coaching and mentoring Interpreting information gathered through observation and data collection Evaluating effectiveness of interventions and recommending adjustments Producing high-quality reports and progress records Upholding contemporary, evidence-informed approaches Contributing to multidisciplinary discussions and service improvement activities Maintaining external professional supervision in accordance with NDIS Behaviour Support Practitioner registration requirements What You'll Bring Essential Skills Robust critical thinking and problem-solving capability Confidence interpreting information and identifying behavioural trends High-level written documentation and reporting ability Effective relationship-building across diverse stakeholder groups Proficiency using electronic practice management and reporting platforms Adaptability when working with complex presentations Ability to coordinate competing priorities and meet deadlines Commitment to ethical, rights-based service delivery Qualifications &

Experience Minimum 12 months' experience delivering NDIS Behaviour Support services Current NDIS Behaviour Support Practitioner registration , preferrably Proficient, or Advanced level. Core level considered depending on experience Relevant tertiary qualification in: Psychology Social Work Speech Pathology Psychotherapy Developmental Education Behaviour Analysis Education Counselling Demonstrated capability producing Behaviour Support Plans Understanding of NDIS Quality and Safeguards Commission expectations Familiarity with legislation relating to regulated and prohibited practices Experience working alongside people living with disability across community environments Contractor Prerequisites Applicants must hold:



Suitabilty status as a PBS Practitioner NDIS Worker Screening Clearance Working With Children Check NDIS Worker Orientation Module and Induction Module Certificates Current Australian Driver's Licence First Aid certificate Reliable transport Australian Business Number (ABN) Professional Indemnity Insurance Public Liability Insurance Phone, laptop, and internet access suitable for service delivery As an independent contractor, you will be responsible for arranging and maintaining supervision requirements associated with your practitioner registration level.

We recognise the value of experienced practitioners and offer competitive contractor rates based on registration level, qualifications, experience, and complexity of work undertaken. Contract rates range from $100-$130 per hour + Superannuation, depending on your NDIS Behaviour Support Practitioner registration level and demonstrated experience.
