What You’ll Be Doing:
- Oversee all aspects of broiler chicken production: bird health, welfare, feeding, and pickup
- Manage 2 farmhands, set schedules, and promote a safety-first, team-based culture
- Monitor performance KPIs (FCR, mortality, weights) and drive operational improvements
- Coordinate with Inghams, suppliers, and internal stakeholders to ensure compliance and production goals are met
- Use our digital systems (Rapid Global, MEX) for safety, maintenance, and reporting
What We’re Looking For:
- Proven experience managing or assisting in livestock or poultry operations
- Strong planning, leadership, and communication skills – team-first mindset is essential
- A calm, structured operator who can lead from the front and make the most of quiet vs. busy periods in the production cycle
- Comfortable with remote/rural living and 24/7 alarm responsibilities (must live on site)
- Bonus if you’ve worked with SKOV systems, WHS programs, or liaised directly with processors
