We are seeking a proactive Site Engineer to join our delivery team on a university infrastructure project on the Gold Coast. This is an outstanding opportunity to gain hands‑on experience on a complex, multi‑faceted build featuring contemporary educational facilities, state‑of‑the‑art labs, and sustainable building systems.

About the Role

Working closely with the Project Engineer and Site Manager, you will play a crucial role in the day‑to‑day delivery of site operations, ensuring work is completed safely, on schedule, and to exact quality standards.

Key responsibilities include:

- Site Supervision & Execution: Coordinate daily trade operations, subcontractors, and suppliers to keep site activities running smoothly.
- Quality Assurance (QA): Manage QA processes, complete ITPs (Inspection & Test Plans), and drive quality standards across all trades.
- Technical Support: Review drawings, manage RFIs (Requests for Information), and resolve technical issues on-site alongside design teams and consultants.
- Safety & Environment: Enforce site safety standards, conduct toolbox talks, and ensure strict compliance with WHS regulations.
- Short‑term Programming:



Help develop 2-to-4 week look‑ahead schedules and track site progress against master milestones.

What You'll Bring

- A tertiary qualification in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related discipline.
- 1 to 3 years of experience as a Site Engineer within commercial, institutional, or major civil construction.
- Valid White Card and relevant Australian work rights.
- Strong technical acumen with the ability to read plans, manage QA systems, and troubleshoot site issues quickly.
- Excellent communication skills to build solid working relationships with subcontractors, client representatives, and site crews.
- Local Gold Coast or SEQ construction experience is highly regarded.
