Gardener - Casual Labour Hire

Pay Rate: Competitive hourly rate + casual loading

Programmed Skilled Workforce is currently seeking an experienced Gardener to join our client's team in Braidwood on a casual labour hire basis.

This is a hands-on role working across parks, gardens, urban spaces and other Council-maintained areas. You will be responsible for maintaining high-quality public spaces and supporting a range of horticultural, landscaping and general outdoor maintenance activities.

Key Responsibilities

General gardening, horticultural and parks and gardens maintenanceLawn mowing, turf care and maintenanceWeed control and safe chemical useTree maintenance and pruningIrrigation and watering system maintenanceBushland management and regenerationLandscaping and minor construction worksLitter and refuse collectionOperating hand tools, power tools, small plant and equipmentOperating tractors and other plant where requiredFencing and bollard repairs and installationWorksite traffic control and placement of signageGeneral outdoor labouring and cleaning dutiesMaintaining a safe, clean and organised worksite

About You

To be successful in this role, you will ideally have:

Previous experience in gardening, horticulture,



parks and gardens or landscapingA Certificate III in Horticulture or similar qualification is desirableA strong commitment to workplace health and safetyAbility to work effectively both independently and as part of a teamGood communication and customer service skillsAbility to use mobile devices and basic computer systemsCurrent NSW General Construction Induction Card (White Card)Current NSW Class C Driver LicenceWork Zone Traffic Control - Traffic Controller qualification is highly desirable
