Overview

Charlton Christian College is seeking passionate and capable Primary Teachers to join our Junior School and Stage 3 Middle School teams in 2026. We are recruiting for:

- Full time permanent and full-time 12-month contract positions in Junior School
- Full-time and 0.8 FTE permanent positions in Stage 3
- Commencement: Term 1, 2026

Charlton is a K–12 co-educational Christian school set on 12 hectares on Lake Macquarie’s western side. We are a Christ-centred community that values Love, Integrity, Faith, and Empowerment, and are committed to helping every student grow in character and capability.

The Successful Applicant Will Demonstrate

- A personal relationship with Jesus Christ, regular attendance in a local Christian church, and willingness to uphold and support the College’s Statement of Faith in all aspects of the role
- Knowledge of, and strong commitment to, child safety in an educational setting,



including awareness of mandatory reporting obligations and secure practices when working with children and families
- Proven ability to align professional practice with the AITSL Teacher Standards
- Capacity to integrate a Christian perspective into curriculum and classroom practice
