Northern Valley Packers is a leading fresh produce packing and distribution business based in Bindoon, approximately one hour north of Perth. We pack and supply premium Western Australian produce to major supermarkets, independent retailers and export customers.

We are seeking a practical and motivated Production Line Supervisorto oversee our pre-packing operations. This is a hands-on leadership position suited to someone who enjoys working on the production floor, leading people and keeping operations running safely and efficiently.

During our peak citrus season from May to September, the position will work across a rotating morning and evening shift roster.

About the Role

Reporting to the Operations Manager, you will be responsible for supervising our pre-packing operations and leading a team of approximately 6–10 employees. You will manage production plans across both shifts, monitor productivity and quality, and work closely with the Sales Team and Production Coordinator to ensure customer orders are completed accurately and on time. This is not a desk-based position. You will be expected to work alongside your team on the pre-packing line, lead by example and actively resolve issues as they arise.

Key Responsibilities

- Supervise the day-to-day operation of the pre-packing production area.
- Lead, support and motivate a team of 6–10 production employees.
- Create and implement daily production plans in consultation with the Operations Manager and Sales Team.
- Coordinate production requirements across morning and evening shifts.
- Monitor productivity and work efficiently to minimise downtime.
- Ensure customer orders are packed accurately and completed within required timeframes.




- Identify and troubleshoot basic mechanical or production-line issues.
- Maintain product and process quality within your area.
- Ensure GMP, HACCP, food safety and workplace safety standards are followed at all times.
- Complete basic production records, reports and internal communications.
- Assist with training and developing team members.
- Maintain a clean, organised and safe production environment.

About You

To be successful in this position, you will demonstrate:
- Previous experience in a manufacturing, warehouse, production or FMCG environment.
- Previous team leadership or supervisory experience.
- A proactive, practical and hands-on leadership style.
- Strong communication and people-management skills.
- The ability to organise workloads and manage production priorities.
- Mechanical aptitude and the ability to identify and troubleshoot basic mechanical issues.
- Basic computer literacy, including Microsoft Teams, Excel and Outlook.
- A strong understanding of quality, food safety and workplace safety requirements.
- The ability to remain calm and make decisions in a fast-paced environment.
- Flexibility to work rotating morning and evening shifts during the peak season.
- A current forklift licence is preferred but not essential.
