This could be your move into some of Australia's most cutting edge live events and experiential.
We're looking for someone who understands how things actually get made-— whether that's from experiential production, exhibitions, shopfitting and retail design, or an architecture or interior design background where you'd rather see your drawings built in weeks than years.
WOW Recruitment is exclusively partnered with a leading live events & experiential agency in Sydney to find a Production Manager who thrives on technical precision and creative problem-solving.
This agency rewards your expertise with:
- Hybrid Working (3 days in office, 2 days remote) for collaboration and flexibility.
- Flexible Hours to help you balance work and life.
- Regular Creative & Team-Bonding Off-Sites to keep inspiration flowing.
The Chance: Shape Spaces, Build Experiences From pop-ups and product launches to immersive brand activations, this agency creates temporary environments that leave a lasting impact.
As Production Manager, you'll be the technical backbone of the production process, turning creative concepts into reality through detailed drawings, supplier coordination, and on-site execution.
Your Impact and Responsibilities:
- Translate creative ideas into technical drawings using Vectorworks (AutoCAD or other software experience welcome too).
- Specify finishes and custom build techniques for bespoke installations.
- Manage supplier relationships and oversee fabrication.
- Coordinate on-site installs, ensuring flawless execution under tight timelines.
- Maintain budgets and schedules while driving operational excellence.
What You'll Bring:
- A technical design or production background - experiential, exhibitions, shopfitting, retail design, interior architecture or architecture all considered.
- The ability to produce technical drawings and detail a build (Vectorworks preferred, AutoCAD, Rhino or similar all fine).
- A working knowledge of materials, finishes and fabrication methods.
- Comfort moving at pace - timelines here are measured in weeks, not months.
- A proactive, solutions-focused mindset. An established supplier network is a bonus rather than a requirement.
Experiential experience isn't essential. If you can detail a build and manage it through to install, they'll back you on the rest. Salary: $110–130k + super
Location: Central Sydney – hybrid working (3 days in office, 2 days remote)
