NHS Biomedical Scientist – Morphology/Pathology

What you will do:
- Perform complex analyses on blood and other bodily fluids to assist in diagnosis and treatment.
- Examine blood films and report on morphology findings.
- Participate in maintaining laboratory equipment and ensuring compliance with quality standards.
- Engage in the delivery of a 24-hour, 7 days per week service, including out of hours rota and weekend shifts.
- Collaborate with a dynamic team of healthcare professionals to enhance patient care.
- Stay updated on the latest scientific developments and contribute to continuous improvement activities.
To be considered for this exciting opportunity, you must have:
- HCPC registration and a relevant qualification in biomedical science or an alternative qualification.
- Post-qualifying experience within biomedical science.
- Proficiency in reporting blood films morphology.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including the ability to join an out of hours rota and extended working days.
