Company Description

We harvest fruit that would otherwise go to waste, sharing it amongst the pickers, tree owners, and local food charities for use in meal programs or for distribution to people in need in the community. We have a range of marketing volunteer roles available, all working under the guidance of our Marketing Coordinator and Founder. Whether you have a few hours a week or are looking for a more regular commitment, we'd love to hear from you. Because these are volunteer roles, we're open to multiple people sharing responsibilities, and we'll set up the right team structures and communication channels to make it work seamlessly. The roles available are:

Roles

- Videographer (Ad hoc, Adelaide-based) Called on as needed to capture the full harvesting journey, from backyard pick to food relief delivery. Raw footage is repurposed across multiple channels and campaigns.
- Copywriter Produce long-form content including articles and blog posts, helping establish a consistent brand voice across our written content. Experience with long-form copywriting preferred.
- Outreach Officer (Adelaide-based preferred)



Manage relationships with media outlets and journalists, track and record coverage, and pass coverage pieces to the Marketing Coordinator for monthly reporting. May also assist with donor outreach and general correspondence.

Practical Details

Most roles can be performed remotely from home; however, it's preferred that candidates are based in Adelaide. Flexible scheduling - hours and availability vary by role. All volunteers work under the guidance of the Marketing Coordinator and Founder. Volunteer roles with potential for growth as the organisation develops.
