About the Role

We are seeking an organised and motivated Project Coordinator to join our growing team specialising in the manufacture and installation of commercial aluminium windows, doors, curtain walls, and glazing systems.

Working closely with Project Managers, Estimators, Factory Production, Procurement, Site Supervisors, and Clients, you will coordinate projects from handover through to completion, ensuring they are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with experience in the commercial aluminium glazing industry who enjoys managing multiple projects in a quick-paced construction environment.

Key Responsibilities

- Coordinate commercial aluminium window and door projects from contract award through to completion.
- Provide technical support throughout estimating, tendering, design, fabrication, installation, and project completion.
- Review architectural drawings, specifications, shop drawings, and engineering documentation.
- Advise on system selection, value engineering, and constructability.
- Ensure compliance with the National Construction Code (NCC), Australian Standards, and project specifications.
- Liaise with architects, builders, engineers, suppliers, and certification authorities on technical matters.
- Assist in resolving complex design, manufacturing, installation, and warranty issues.
- Review and approve technical submissions, samples, RFIs, and design changes.
- Identify opportunities for innovation, improved processes, and product development.
- Stay informed of industry developments, emerging technologies, and regulatory changes.

Skills & Experience

- Minimum 2 years' experience within the aluminium window, door, glazing, or façade industry.
- Knowledge of aluminium systems, glazing, hardware,



fabrication, and installation.
- Strong understanding of Australian Standards including AS 2047, AS 1288, AS/NZS 1170, and the National Construction Code.
- Experience working on residential, commercial, education, healthcare, and high-rise developments.
- Ability to interpret architectural, structural, and engineering documentation.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Outstanding communication and stakeholder management abilities.
- Strong leadership, mentoring, and coaching capability.

Preferred Qualifications

- Degree or Diploma in Construction Management, Engineering, Building, or a related discipline.
- Experience with leading aluminium systems such as Capral, Alspec and Criterion.
- Familiarity with BIM, AutoCAD or similar technical software.
