Your new role
As a Project Engineer, you will lead and coordinate civil infrastructure projects from planning through to delivery, overseeing contracts, stakeholder engagement and technical engineering activities to ensure successful project outcomes.
- Manage the delivery of civil infrastructure projects from planning and procurement through to completion.
- Administer contracts, tenders, specifications and contractor performance requirements.
- Conduct site inspections and investigations relating to roads, traffic and storm-water infrastructure.
- Maintain and update asset management, GIS and infrastructure databases to ensure accurate records.
- Prepare engineering reports, plans, maps and technical documentation to support project outcomes.
- Liaise with community members, contractors, government agencies and internal stakeholders to resolve enquiries and drive project delivery.
- Support policy development,
grant funding applications, records management and compliance with safety and legislative requirements.
What you'll need to succeed
- Bachelor's degree qualification in Civil Engineering, Surveying or a related discipline
- Strong communication, stakeholder management and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work autonomously and manage competing priorities.
- Strong working knowledge of AutoCAD and CAD drafting principles.
- Current C Class Driving Licence
