Civil Project Manager (RPEQ) | Pre-Construction | Nerang

Appoint is recruiting two experienced Civil Project Managers for a Queensland Government transport infrastructure team based in Nerang. Working within Pre-Construction, you will lead South Coast road infrastructure projects from completed business case or scoping through preliminary and detailed design, tendering, procurement and Issue for Construction documentation.

This is primarily a pre-construction and design-delivery role. It would suit a senior RPEQ qualified who can confidently manage the technical, commercial and stakeholder requirements of transport projects before they move into construction.

Key responsibilities

- Managing civil infrastructure projects throughout the pre-construction lifecycle
- Coordinating preliminary and detailed design delivery
- Managing project scope, budgets, programmes, forecasts, risks and reporting
- Leading tendering, procurement and contract administration activities
- Managing consultants, contractors and internal stakeholders




- Completing construction contract documentation through to Issue for Construction
- Providing senior civil engineering advice and ensuring compliance with relevant standards

What we’re looking for:
- Four-year Civil Engineering degree recognised by Engineers Australia
- Current RPEQ registration
- At least 15 years’ experience delivering transport infrastructure projects
- Strong experience across design delivery, tendering, procurement and contract administration
- Current Class C driver’s licence
- Valid Australian work rights for the contract term
- White Card, or the ability to obtain one before commencement
