Mov'in Bed is one of Australia's most unique outdoor cinema experiences, transforming iconic locations into premium open-air cinemas where guests enjoy films from the comfort of real beds under the stars.

We're looking for an experienced Project Manager to become our representative in Western Australia and take ownership of the planning and pre-production of the Perth season.

This is not a traditional employment role.

It's an opportunity to own a project, work independently and play a key role in bringing one of Australia's most unique event experiences to life.

Your Mission

Your mission is straightforward.

Deliver a project that is fully approved, fully planned and ready for construction.

You'll lead the planning phase from start to finish, ensuring every approval, supplier, timeline and operational requirement is in place before construction begins.

What You'll Deliver

As Project Manager, you will be responsible for:

- Leading the planning and pre-production of Mov'in Bed Perth.
- Preparing and coordinating the Development Application (DA).
- Managing all Food Safety and Liquor Licence applications.
- Liaising with councils, government agencies and key stakeholders.
- Sourcing, negotiating and appointing local suppliers.
- Managing supplier procurement and quotations.
- Recruiting and onboarding the Perth Site Manager.
- Maintaining the project timeline and proactively managing project risks.
- Providing regular progress updates to the Sydney team.
- Delivering a seamless handover into construction and event operations.





About You You'll have experience delivering major events, festivals or public activations and be confident managing multiple stakeholders simultaneously.

You'll enjoy taking ownership, making informed decisions and solving problems before they become issues.

You'll build strong relationships, communicate clearly and know how to keep a project moving.

Most importantly, you'll take pride in delivering outstanding work and being accountable for the success of the project.

Commercial Arrangement

- Project-based engagement.
- Estimated duration of approximately six months.
- Project Fee: Approximately $55,000 , with the final commercial arrangement, including GST or superannuation (where applicable) , to be agreed with the successful applicant.
- Flexible workload based on project milestones rather than fixed weekly hours.
- Opportunity to collaborate on future BBR projects across Australia.

What Success Looks Like By the time construction begins:
- All regulatory approvals have been secured.
- Key suppliers have been appointed.
- The Perth Site Manager has been recruited and briefed.
- Budgets and procurement have been finalised.
- The project is fully planned and ready to transition confidently into delivery.
