About St Peter's Woodlands

St Peter's Woodlands is a co-educational Anglican primary school in the heart of beautiful beachside Glenelg, specialising in early learning and primary education for children aged two to twelve. Since 1999, we've built a reputation for an inclusive, nurturing environment, strong values and individualised care for every child.

About the Role

Our school has invested in a new Student Information System (SIS) to support our staff, students and families into the future – and we're looking for a Project Manager to lead its implementation. Reporting to the Business Director, you will lead and coordinate the end-to-end implementation of our current SIS . This is a hands-on role covering project planning, stakeholder coordination, risk management, communication and direct support for system configuration and data migration.

You will work closely with the SIS vendor and staff across multiple departments to ensure a smooth transition for both staff and parents.

This is a Temporary 6-month, part-time (0.6 FTE) contract, working 46 weeks per year. The position is offered at Level 5 under the St Peter's Woodlands Enterprise Agreement 2026.

Key Responsibilities

- Coordinate all aspects of the SIS implementation project
- Develop and maintain the project plan, including timelines, milestones, deliverables and dependencies
- Act as the primary point of contact between the School and the SIS vendor
- Schedule and facilitate meetings with the vendor and internal staff; prepare agendas and document outcomes
- Monitor project progress and follow up with staff across departments to keep tasks on track
- Identify, document and monitor project risks, escalating significant issues to the Business Director
- Prepare and deliver regular project status reports

- Support data migration activities, including data mapping, extraction/loading and validation
- Support configuration tasks such as template and form set-up within the new system
- Coordinate staff training and liaise with the Communications Manager on the parent communication rollout
- Maintain accurate, accessible project documentation and support change management activities

About You You're an organised, proactive project coordinator who thrives on bringing multiple stakeholders together and keeping complex work on track. You'll bring:

- Demonstrated ability to manage and coordinate projects involving multiple stakeholders
- Strong organisational skills, with the ability to manage timelines, competing priorities and follow-up actions
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong interpersonal skills and a collaborative, positive approach
- Sound judgement and the initiative to solve problems proactively
- Intermediate-level competency in Microsoft Office, including Excel
- The ability to present confidently and professionally
- A degree in Business, Information Systems, Project Management or a related discipline
- Extensive experience coordinating or managing projects, ideally involving system implementation
